When I first heard about this offer to students, I was immediately intrigued by the idea. Paying students to quit school and take part in a prestigious paid internship. If offered the internship, the student must agree to drop out of school for two years, and will receive $100,000 per year for their services to the company.
I feel that this offer is absolutely something for students to consider. College degrees do not necessarily prove that a student learned anything. Degrees simply show that a student was able to finish something they started. What sets students apart in the job world are their experiences and this is exactly what the students will get during this internship. On the other hand, I do not feel that anyone can go wrong with a college education. A degree is something that no one can ever take away from someone and it will unquestionably open doors that may have not been possible without a degree.
Good topic to reflect on. You could enhance your post by providing a little more detail about the event and a little more reflection on what you think is going on with the event. For example, are you sure that degrees only show that a student was able to finish something they started. Is there any more to it? Expanding on these issues will enhance the quality of your posts.
